Opening hours may be restricted at Terror House museum

Mária Schmidt Director of Terror House museum called up an advisory board meeting concerning the Parliament’s decision to cut 150 million Forints from the state budgetary support provided for the institution. The Director told MTI on Wednesday that the advisory board and the steering committee will check the „numbers” and than decide on a future course of action.

The submitter was Iván Pető SZDSZ representative whose parents were ÁVH officers and as such they are featured on one of the perpetrators lists placed on the museum’s halls. Therefore the museum’s associates see personal reasons behind Pető’s submission.
